Abstract

ABSTRACT The induction motor is one of the equipment that functions to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy and is one of the most widely used equipment used by industrial companies that are used in production support equipment and other uses, so maintenance is needed to maintain the stability of the induction motor. One of the factors that can affect induction motor damage is voltage imbalance, in this paper the author will analyze the effect of voltage changes on input power, input current, rotor rotational speed, slip, output power, losses and efficiency of three-phase induction motors. The results of the analysis obtained are voltage drops of 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, at a load of 4 Nm the increase is the input current from 6.13-6.61 amperes, slip 5.18-5, 38 %, efficiency is 20.4-22.02%, and what has decreased is the rotational speed of the rotor from 1422.18-1419.37 rpm, and the output power is 595.4 -594.20 watts. At a load of 5 Nm the increase in input current is from 6.20 to 6.64 amperes, slip is 5.20 to 5.28%, efficiency is 20.31 to 21.04%, and what is decreased is the rotor speed from 1421, 19 – 1419.37 rpm, and the output power is 595.32 – 594.8 watts. At a load of 6 Nm the increase is the input current from 6.31 - 6.86 amperes, slip 5.20 - 5.44%, efficiency 19.89 - 21.86%, and the decrease is the rotor speed, namely from 1421 .99 – 1418.37 rpm, and the output power is from 595.32 – 593.8 watts.
