Abstract
The shifting of people's lifestyles demands that a social life with sundries must be
fulfilled in terms of financial needs as well as good name and social status. Therefore, as
human resources, we are required to have a planning capability so that we can fill the
management space in order to achieve common needs. Problems that occur in employees
of PT. Perkasa Internusa Mandiri Medan related to discipline such as employees who are
often absent, not on time both in attendance and in carrying out work, as well as a lack of
job satisfaction which is felt to have caused employee performance to decline, so that
operations do not run optimally. This study aims to determine the effect of discipline,
motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Perkasa Internusa
Mandiri Medan. The data used are primary data. The variables studied consisted of
Discipline, Motivation, Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance, while the data
collection methods used in this study were questionnaires and interviews. The analysis
used is associative analysis, the nature of this research is quantitative, multiple linear
regression analysis and analysis of the coefficient of determination using IBM SPSS 22
program. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Perkasa Internusa
Mandiri Medan. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, so that the number of
samples became 56 respondents. The results obtained from this study indicate that: 1)
Work Discipline partially and significantly affects Employee Performance, 2) Work
Motivation partially and significantly affects Employee Performance, 3) Job Satisfaction
partially and significantly influences Employee Performance 4) Work Discipline, Work
Motivation, and Job Satisfaction simultaneously and significantly influence employee
performance. The coefficient of determination in this study is 88.3%. Employee
performance can be obtained and explained by Work Discipline, Work Motivation, and
Job Satisfaction while the remaining 100% - 88.3% = 11.7% is explained by other factors
than in beyond the variables that the authors studied.
