Abstract
ABSTRACT
The prototype with this piezoelectric sensor can convert mechanical energy in the form of pressure or kicks from human feet or vehicles into electrical energy. With this design, obtaining maximum power depends on several factors, including the increase in the number of piezoelectrics, the mass of the human load, and the number of steps the person takes. The average load produced after several series of tests resulting from the mass load of 45 kg, 65 kg, and 90 kg is 0.12, 0.46 and 0.49 volts for testing in series. As for the parallel is 3.73, 3.88, 4.65 volts. Based on the results of the analysis of the battery charging system using a piezoelectric sensor, the serial and parallel masses were determined to weigh 45 kg, 65 kg and 80 kg depending on the number of human steps.
