Abstract
This research was conducted to find out how the influence of motivation, leadership
and work environment on employee performance (case study on Social Service of
Medan City). The data was taken from The Social Service of Medan City. In this
research using quantitative research approach that is associative is research to know
the influence between free variables and bound variables. The population in this
study was all employees in the Social Service of Medan City which amounted to 47
employees. This research was processed using SPSS application with multiple linear
regression method. The test results concluded that based on the results of partial and
simultaneous research it can be concluded that motivation (X1), leadership (X2), and
work environment (X3) simultaneously can have a positive and significant effect on
the performance (Y) of Social Service employees of Medan City, so the hypothetical
results are accepted. Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination
indicates that by 95,2%. performance (bound variables) can be explained by variable
factors of motivation, leadership and work environment. The remaining 3.8% was
influenced by other factors not described in the study
