Abstract

The title of this research is "The Influence of Motivation, Discipline, and Education
and Development of the National Police on Polri's Performance Achievement
(Study of the Police Personnel of North Sumatra." Quantitative method involving
38 respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires. The data
obtained were analyzed using statistical formulas, namely by using multiple
regression analysis which was managed using the SPSS version 16 program. The
results of the quantitative analysis showed a partial significant test (Test- t) The
results of the partial significant test (t-test) show that t count is 0.899 while t table
is 1.688 and is significant at 0.371, so motivation has a positive and partially
insignificant effect on work performance. while t table amounting to 1.688 and a
significant amount of 0.0010, then discipline has a positive and partially significant
effect on work performance. The result of the partial significant test (t-test) shows
that t count is 3.991 while t table is 1.688 and is significant at 0.000, so motivation,
discipline and training in education and development have a positive and partially
significant effect on job performance. The results of Fcount is 10.049 while Ftable
is 2.89 and the significance is much smaller than 0.000, it can be concluded that
motivation, discipline and training at the same time have a positive and significant
effect on Job Performance.
