Abstract

The title of this research is "The Influence of Work Environment, and Work Ability
on Employee Job Satisfaction at the Department of Hygiene and Parks in Medan".
This study aims to examine and find out more clearly how the influence of the
work environment, and work ability on employee job satisfaction. This study uses
quantitative methods involving 63 respondents. Data collection is done by using
the distribution of questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using
statistical formulas, namely by using multiple regression analysis which the
management was carried out with the SPSS Version 16 program. The results of
the quantitative analysis showed that the Work Environment had a positive and
significant effect on Job Satisfaction at the Department of Hygiene and Parks,
Medan City, with a regression value of 0.524 and significant 0.000. Workability
has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction at the Department of
Hygiene and Parks in Medan City, with a regression value of 0.502 and a
significant 0.000. Work environment, and work ability simultaneously have a
positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at the Medan City Cleanliness
and Parks Office, with a significant value of 0.000 and an Fcount of 149,672.
