Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline, work ability and
motivation on the performance of civil servants at the Office of Women's
Empowerment, Child Protection and Community Empowerment in Medan City.
The population in this study were 57 employees at the Office of Women's
Empowerment, Child Protection and Community Empowerment in Medan City,
while the sampling technique used was saturated samples. Where the entire
population is sampled. So that the sample in this study is 57 employees.
The results of the regression analysis are Y = 0.030 + 0.425X1 + 0.219X2 +
0.344X3 + e. While the results of the partial test (t test) show that the variables of
work discipline, ability and work motivation have a positive and significant effect
on the performance of civil servants at the Office of Women's Empowerment,
Child Protection and Community Empowerment in Medan City. This can be seen
from the significance value <0.05. The results of the simultaneous test (F test) of
work discipline variables, ability and work motivation on the performance of civil
servants at the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and
Community Empowerment in Medan City and the results of the determination test
for the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.871 (87.1%). So it can be said that
87.1% of the variation in the dependent variable, namely work discipline, ability
and work motivation in the model can explain employee performance, while the
remaining 12.9% is influenced by other variables outside the model.
