Abstract
This study aims to examine and find out more clearly how the Effect of Salary,
Promotion and Work Environment on Job Satisfaction of Outsourced Employees
of PT Witel Telekomunikasi Medan. This study uses a quantitative method
involving 36 outsourced home service employees as respondents. Data collection
is done by using the distribution of questionnaires. The data obtained were
analyzed using statistical formulas, namely by using multiple regression analysis
which was managed using the SPSS program. The results of quantitative analysis
show that Salary has a positive and partially insignificant effect on job
satisfaction of outsourcing employees based on the count value of the salary
variable (X1) is 1.673 Sig value of 0.104. The magnitude of the influence of salary
(X1) on job satisfaction (Y) is 0.125, which means that every time there is an
increase in Leadership Firmness (X1), it will increase Work Safety (Y) by 0.518
units. Promotion has a positive and significant effect partially on job satisfaction
of outsourcing employees. Tested and acceptable based on the tcount value of the
promotion variable (X2) is 7.571 Sig value of 0.000. The magnitude of the effect
of promotion (X2) on job satisfaction (Y) is 0.574, which means that every time
there is an increase in promotion (X2), it will increase job satisfaction (Y) by
0.848 units. The work environment has a positive and partially insignificant effect
on job satisfaction of outsourcing employees based on the tcount value of the
work environment variable (X3) is 7.265 with a Sig value of 0.0000. The
magnitude of the influence of the work environment (X3) on job satisfaction (Y) is
0.723 units.
