Abstract

Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) is a horticultural commodity that is widely consumed by the public. To increase the production of shallots, sufficient nutrients are needed, one of which is the provision of guano fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer of coconut water. This study aims to determine: The effect of guano fertilizer and coconut water liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) and the interaction of the two treatments. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the application of guano fertilizer which was divided into 3 levels, namely G0 = 0 kg/plot (control), G1 = 1 kg/plot, G2 = 2 kg/plot. The second factor is coconut water liquid organic fertilizer which is divided into 3 levels, namely A0 = 0 ml/plant (control), A1 = 100 ml/plant, A2 = 200 ml/plant. The parameters observed were leaf length (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tillers (shoots), number of bulbs per sample (fruit), wet weight per sample (g), dry weight per sample (g), tuber diameter ( mm). The results of this study indicate that the application of guano fertilizer and coconut water liquid organic fertilizer has a very significant effect on leaf length (cm), wet weight per sample (g), dry weight per sample (g), tuber diameter (mm), and has an effect on not significant to the number of leaves (strands), the number of tillers (shoots), the number of tubers per sample (fruit).
