Abstract

ABSTRACT
Long beans as a source of vitamins and minerals become one of the benefits in efforts to improve community nutrition, long beans contain lots of vitamin A and vitamin C and many minerals, especially in young pods. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of biochar testing of agricultural waste and liquid organic fertilizer of fruit waste to the growth and production of long bean plants (Vigna sinensis L), and their interactions. This research used factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors with 16 combinations and 3 replications to obtain 48 research plots. The factors studied were the provision of rice husk charcoal with the symbol "S" consisting of S0 = Control, S1 = 0.6 kg / plot, S2 = 1.2 kg / plot, and S3 = 1.8 kg / plot. Factors for the application of orange organic liquid waste with the symbol "P" consist of P0 = Control, P1 = 10 ml / tan, P2 = 20 ml / tan, and P2 = 30 ml / tan. The parameters observed were plant length (cm), number of branches (branches), sample production (gr), and plot production (gr). The results showed that the administration of rice husk charcoal had a very significant effect on plant length, sample production, and plot production, and also had a significant effect on the number of branches, where the best treatment was obtained at treatment S3 (1.8 kkg / plot). The application of liquid organic fertilizer for citrus fruit has a very significant effect on plant length, sample production, and plot production, and also has a significant effect on the number of branches, where the best treatment is obtained at treatment P3 (30 ml / tan). The interaction that occurred between the administration of rice husk charcoal and liquid organic fertilizer of orange fruit waste significantly affected the observed parameters.
