Abstract

This study is a quantitative study that aims to determine whether job demands, work
resources and job satisfaction are related to employee work engagement in the Cardiak
Center Building, RSUP. H Adam Malik. The population of this study were all permanent
employees at the Cardiak Center Building, RSUP. H Adam Malik with a sample of 53
employees/respondents. The data obtained is the result of distributing questionnaires to
respondents showing that job demands do not have a positive and partially insignificant
effect on employee work engagement in the Cardiak Center Building RSUP. H Adam
Malik with a tcount of 0.318 < ttable 1.68 and a large significance of 0.752 > 0.05.
Work Resources have a positive and significant partial effect on employee work
engagement in the Cardiak Center Building, RSUP. H Adam Malik with a tcount of 6373
> ttable 1.68 of 0.000 <0.05. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect
simultaneously on employee work engagement at the Cardiak Center Building, RSUP.
H Adam Malik with a tcount value of 2.673> t table 1.68 of 0.011 <0.05. Job demands,
work resources and job satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on
employee work engagement in the Cardiak Center Building, RSUP. H Adam Malik with
tcount value of 85,643>Ftable of 2.63 and sig 0.000<0.05). Simultaneous test results
(Test f) show that. adjusted R Square 0.867 which can be called the coefficient of
determination which in this case means that 86.7% of work engagement can be obtained
and explained by work demands, work resources and satisfaction. While the remaining
100% - 86.7% = 13.3% is explained by other factors or variables outside this research
model such as incentives, leadership style, work environment and others
