Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving eggshell POC on the growth and production of soybean (Glycine max L) and their interactions. The effect of giving the type of planting media on the growth and production of soybeans (Glycine max L). This research method uses a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the provision of eggshell POC which is divided into 3 levels, namely C0 = (without treatment), C1 = (400 ml / liter of water), C2 = (800 ml / liter of water). The second factor is the type of planting media divided into 3 levels, namely M0 = (Cow Manure Compost), M1 = (Husk Charcoal + Cow Manure Compost 1:1), M2 = (Wood Charcoal + Cow Manure Compost 1:1). The parameters observed were the number of leaves (strands), plant height (cm), flowering age (days), production per sample (gr), production per plot (gr). The results of this study showed that the effect of giving eggshell POC and the type of planting medium on the growth and production of soybean (Glycien max L) did not affect the number of leaves (strands), plant height (cm), flowering age (days), production per sample (gr), production per plot (gr). The planting medium M0 = (cow dung compost) indicates that the planting medium is the best. While giving POC egg shells at treatment C2 = (800 ml/liter of water) showed that the treatment was the best.

Keywords: Soybean, eggshell POC, types of growing media.
