Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of cow dung fertilizer and Eco enzyme on the growth and production of people eggplant ( Solanum melongena L) and their interactions. This research methoduses a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the application of cow dung fertilizer whichis divided into 3 levels, namely K0= control (without treatment), K1 = 2 kg/plot, K2 = 4 kg/plot. The second factor is Eco enzyeme which is divided into 3 lvels, namely E0 = control (without treatment), E1 = 400ml/plant, E2 = 800ml/plant. Flower (buds), number of fruit per sample (fruit), number of fruit per plot (fruit), production weight per sample (gram), production weight per plot (gram). From the results of statistical analysis showed that the response of cow dung fertilizer on the growthand production of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L) had and insignificant effect on flowering age, but had a significant and very significant effect on the number of leaves, plant height, number of fuits per sample, number of fruit per plot, weight of fruit per sample and weight of fruit per plot, where the best treatment was in K2 (4 kg/plot).Based on statistical data analysis, it was shown that the response to the administration of Eco enzyme on the growth and production of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L) had an insignificant effect on the number of leaves, plant height, flowering time, but had a very significant effect on the number of fruits per sample, number of fruits per plot, fruit weight per sample (grams), and fruit weight per plot (grams), the interaction response between the application of cow (Solanum melongena L) gave no significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves (strands), weight per sample (grams), but significantly affected the parameters of quaintity per sample (fruit), and weight per plot (grams).
