Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Struktur Modal Dengan Profitabilitas Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada Perusahaan Farmasi Yang Terdaftar Di BEI

ABSTRACT
Research analysis to prove whether company size affects the profitability of
pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX. Does liquidity affect profitability.
Do company size and liquidity simultaneously affect profitability. Does company
size affect the capital structure. Does liquidity affect the capital structure. Does
profitability affect the capital structure. Do company size, liquidity and
profitability simultaneously affect the capital structure. Does company size affect
the capital structure through profitability. Does liquidity affect the capital
structure through profitability. The data used are the annual reports of each
company, which are published on the website www.idx.go.id. The analytical
method used in this research is the causal design method, with statistical analysis
testing, panel data and path analysis. The sampling method used was purposive
sampling with a total sample of 6 pharmaceutical companies listed on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange and data from 2013 - 2019. The results of this study
indicate that company size has a significant effect on profitability. Liquidity has a
significant effect on profitability. Company size and liquidity simultaneously have
a significant effect on profitability. Firm size has no significant effect on capital
structure. Liquidity has a significant effect on capital structure. Profitability has
no significant effect on capital structure. Company size, liquidity and profitability
simultaneously have a significant effect on capital structure. Profitability does not
function as an intervening variable between company size and capital structure.
Profitability serves as an intervening variable between liquidity and capital
structure.
