Abstract
ABSTRACT
Students are the younger generation who study in tertiary institutions who have
self-identity. Students are also members of a society which are intellectuals with
responsibility for knowledge and society that are inherent in themselves. Students
have social responsibility and moral responsibility that must be carried out. Seeing
from the responsibility inherent in students, students are not only in learning, but
also expected to be critical of the social environment. Therefore, students are
known as agents of change or social agents of control. Students as elements of
society who have the power to improve and renew the condition of society and the
state must have a capacity above the average of our society. Students must have
knowledge of abilities (skills), vision, and character, far more advanced than most
societies today. Therefore, students as intellectuals must compete for achievement
and believe that they can compete in the era of the global market. The research
objective in this study was to identify and analyze Ethical Competencies,
Knowledge Competencies, Capability Competencies, Concern Competencies for
Human Rights and Values and Competency Analysis simultaneously affect the
Readiness of Unpab Accounting Students in facing MEA both partially and
simultaneously. Model analysis uses multiple linear analysis techniques with 5
independent variables and 1 dependent variable. The results of the study concluded
that the analysis of F (Fisher) shows that the value of F count is 13.416> F table
2.09 and significant F 0.000 <0.05, so that Ha is accepted, namely ethical
competence, knowledge competence, capability competence, competence concern
for rights and human values. and competency analysis jointly affect student
readiness. Ethical competence does not significantly affect student readiness.
Knowledge competencies, capability competencies, competence concerns for
human rights and values and analytical competences significantly affect student
readiness.
