Abstract

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the application of organic fertilizers of goat
manure and POC of vegetables to the growth and production of okra
(Abelmoschus esculentus L.). This research method uses a factorial randomized
block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors with 16 combinations and 2 blocks.
The first factor is the application of organic goat manure (K) which consists of 4
levels, namely. K0 = Control (without treatment), K1 = 1000 g/plot, K2 = 2000
g/plot, K3 = 3000 g/plot. The second factor is the provision of POC vegetables (J)
which consists of 4 levels, namely. J0 = Control (without treatment), J1 = 300
ml/liter of water/plot, J2 = 600 ml/liter of water/plot, J3 = 900 ml/liter of
water/plot. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm),
number of branches (branches), fruit production (g) and fruit diameter (mm).The
results showed that the application of organic goat manure had a significant
effect on the parameters of plant height (cm) and no significant effect on the
parameters of stem diameter (mm), number of branches (branches) fruit
production (g) and fruit diameter (mm). POC administration of vegetables and
their interaction had no significant effect on the parameters of plant height (cm),
stem diameter (mm), number of branches (branches), fruit production (g) and
fruit diameter (mm). The best treatment for organic goat manure is K3 = (3000
g/plot) and POC for vegetables is J2 = (600 ml/liter water/plot).
