Abstract
ABSTRACT
In this design, an Arduino uno-based carbon monoxide detector is made which is displayed on the DMD P10 module at the parking location of PT. Medan Town Square (G-Parking). In this study, the design of the tool was carried out in such a way that the sensor readings were obtained according to the circumstances. The results obtained in this study are that the sensor used takes approximately 30 minutes to warm up to recognize the air conditions in the surrounding environment. The stable state of the sensor is indicated by the absence of significant changes in the reading of carbon monoxide levels. In this study, the design succeeded in reading the levels of carbon monoxide in the Medan Town Square (G-Parking) parking location well and the use of the Dot Matrix P10 worked well to display the reading from the sensor.
