Abstract
ABSTRACT This analysis aims to determine the KWH meter that is in accordance with the KWH error with the classification class of the measuring instrument used. Based on the measurement results of the analog and digital kWh meter error using the Calmet TE30 test tool That the results listed on the kWh meter error test tool show the percentage error that occurs in the digital kWh meter does not exceed the maximum error limit in its class, which is 1%. exceeding the maximum error limit in its class is 2%. So that it is still within good tolerance and within the scope of its class range, it is considered that the condition of the meter used is still feasible and has not been said to be an error. This digital KWh meter is considered a modern KWH meter where the reading system is automatic using the AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) device, while the analog kWh meter is still reading using the manual method. This digital kWh meter is very susceptible to collisions and extreme weather resulting in failed readings because the GSM card on the AMR device is not connected to the network.
