Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to control the consumption of electrical energy at idle time or outside working hours in private office buildings in order to save electricity consumption. To control the use of electrical energy, a smart energy control system was developed by applying Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) and Internet of Thing (IoT) technology in order to create an energy-efficient Smart Office to support Smart City (SC) in the Industrial Age 4.0. The Energy Smart Control System (SiSCE) test was conducted at the Eviza Jaya Medica Office. This tool works automatically to stop the flow of electrical energy at idle time and the information is conveyed to the building manager by mobile. The SiSCE measurement results if the electricity is not turned off during idle time, it shows that the electricity consumption at idle time is almost 50% higher than the operating hours of office activities. By using SiSCE, it can save almost 50% of electrical energy consumption.
