RANCANG BANGUN ALAT TES INDIVIDUAL CIRCUIT BREAKER (CB) 3 PHASA DI PLTU UNIT PELAKSANA PEMBANGKITAN (UPK) BELAWAN

ABSTRACT Circuit Breaker (CB) is a safety device as well as connecting and breaking the supply voltage to the load. Before operating a motor then the circuit breaker of motor must be ensured first its readiness not to hinder the start up process of the power plant. To ensure the readiness of this circuit breaker then required a portable test equipment in order to test circuit breaker in no load conditions. This thesis discusses an individual circuit breaker test kit made from a portable box containing a power electronics circuit that has an output voltage of 220 V AC and 24 V DC which has been designed in accordance with the wiring diagram of the 3 Phase 380 V circuit breaker in PLTU Unit Pelaksana Pembangkitan (UPK) Belawan. With this tool then the condition of the circuit breaker can be ascertained its readiness.
