Abstract

ABSTRACT

The silo filling system is a system used to ensure the continuity of filling raw materials from the intake pouring area to the silo storage bin using the Omron CP1E PLC based SCADA technology system. This system is widely applied in the industrial world such as the animal feed industry, drier, etc. With the support of the SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system, the process of monitoring and controlling the raw material filling system will be very easy to do. The problem raised by the author is how to realize a SCADA system for filling raw materials in silos using SCADA Cx-Supervisor. The method used in this study is an experimental method, where the author performs programming design, wiring, which resembles a prototype in the related industry. With the research design as described, the researchers obtained the results that the plant system for the process of filling raw materials from intake to bin storage (silo) can be viewed and controlled through input-output on the plant directly or controlled via SCADA (interface) on a computer
