Abstract
ABSTRAK
The electric motor is a very important tool in the industrial world, and its use is most often used as a driving tool to carry out all processes in the industrial world. Because if the motor as the blower driver is damaged, the dust suction process will be hampered, so it takes longer, and becomes inefficient. This type of blower drive motor works for 24 hours, so a good motor efficiency is needed for this. Its efficiency can be determined when the motor is working normally. The efficiency calculation is obtained by first calculating the output power and input power. Data obtained by direct measurement at PT. Invilon Sagita Industry is assisted by a site supervisor. Data collection of five motors was measured twice at different time intervals. The calculation results of the input power measurements from the five motors are not much different, as well as the output power values are not much differ ent, so the efficiency of the 3-phase induction motor used as a blower drive for PT Industri Invilon Sagita ranges from 94.19% - 94.92. The output power and input power affect the efficiency of a 3-phase induction motor and the efficiency is said to be good if the output power value is close to the input power value.
