ANALISIS KINERJA STEAM TURBINE GENERATOR KAPASITAS 10 MW DI PT. SINARMAS OLEOCHEMICAL KIM 1 MABAR

ABSTRACT


PT. Sinarmas Oleochemical International is a company engaged in processing palm oil, RBDPS and RPDPO into fatty acids and glycerine. The idea of establishing this factory is based on the market opportunity of Oleochemical which is very large and the raw materials for making Oleochemical are very much in Indonesia. PT Sinarmas Oleochemical Internasional has its own power plant located in the Power Plant, which generates 10 MW of power, which will be supplied to Plant 1 and Plant 2 and all offices covering an area of around 14 hectares. This final project describes how the performance of the Steam Turbine Generator in supplying the output power that will be distributed to the entire Plant. By knowing the value of efficiency in 5 consecutive days we can find out the average value of efficiency and find out what day the efficiency is very high. In this thesis it can be concluded, the author is looking for the efficiency value that is issued to the generator and will be distributed to the main plant, based on data taken from the field. And in this thesis, the maintenance and overhaull data are also attached. The lowest efficiency value occurred on the fifth day, December 5, 2020, 55,48578%, while the highest efficiency value occurred on the second day, December 2, 2020, which was 58,12892%. The efficiency of the generator cannot reach 100%, this is due to the losses that exist in the generator. And the average efficiency is 56.788652%. The data was obtained before the overhaul was carried out in December 2020. After the overhaul, the efficiency increased by an average of 77.8%.
