Abstract
Aquaponic cultivation system is one of the alternatife cultivation techniques used for narrow land use and to overcome the vegetable needs for urban communities which is carried out in the yard of the house. Aquaponic cultivation ofpakcoy plants does not only produce pakcoy plants but can also obtain results from raising fish. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect ofgrowth and production of several varieties of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) in an aquaponic system. This study used a non-factorial completely randomized design (RAL) consisted of 3 treatments with 6 replications so that there were 18 research experimental units. The factors studied were several varieties of ''A" consisting of Al = Nauli Fl, A2 = Green and A3 = Flamingo. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (cm), sample production (g), treatment production (g) and root length of the sample (cm). The results showed that the growth response and production of several varieties ofpakcoy (Brassica rap L.) in the aquaponics system had no significant effect on plant height at I and 2 (MSPT) but had a significant effect at 3 weeks after transplanting and the number of leaves had a significant effect. significantly at the age of 2 and 3 weeks after transplanting. It is known that the best variety in plant height (cm) is the Green variety, then the best results from the number of leaves (strands), production per sample (g) and production per treatment (g) are Flamingo varieties and on root length per sample (cm) the best results are obtained. namely the Nauli FI variety.
