Abstract
ABSTRACT
This designed automatic sterilization gate has been able to work properly and is used for workers who go in and out of the company environment to minimize the possibility of spreading diseases, including viruses. This system simplifies the system from conventional to automatic. This thesis is intended to apply a microcontroller to operate the sterilization gate automatically. The automation process is controlled using a microcontroller so that it can move the relay and regulate the pump to operate by spraying Disinfectant liquid automatically. The sterilization gate uses 4 solar cells with a capacity of 20 wp each and uses 2 batteries with a capacity of 55 AH each and has a total power of 190 Watts, for using 2 batteries without charging solar panels it can last for ± 6.96 hours . while the number of people passing through the sterilization gate was 70 people, with a maximum time of 1 person for 30 seconds or 0.5 minutes. From the results of the above calculations, the author can conclude that for the use of the sterilization gate if in a state of PLN blackout it is feasible to use properly
