Evaluasi Kehandalan Jaringan Listrik 20 kV Berdasarkan Nilai SAIDI-SAIFI Terhadap Pemasangan Tabung Urgent Cut Out Di PLN (Persero) ULP Medan Baru

ABSTRACT

PT PLN (Persero) is a State Electricity Company which plays an important role in the distribution of electricity for the needs of the community, both supporting driving activities, electronic equipment at home/office/school/hospital and of course electricity for a better life. Today, the challenges and demands for service and the reliability of electrical energy supply from customers are very high. With conditions like this, it is necessary to speed up handling when there is a power outage to be a separate benchmark so that preventive and corrective work needs to be improved as an effort to maintain the reliability of electricity supply by taking into account thevalues. SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index) and SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index) so that it affects the value of Recovery Time against electrical disturbances, especially those that occur at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Medan Barat. In the distribution of electrical energy to consumers there is a protection device called FCO (Fuse Cut Out). In accordance with SPLN 64: 1985 where FCO is a protective equipment that works in the event of an overcurrent fault. This tool will disconnect the electrical circuit from one another when a current passes through its working capacity. The working principle of FCO is to melt (melt) the fuse link contained in the FCO tube so that the FCO is released, FCO is installed on a 20 KV distribution network which functions as distribution transformer protection and network protection at branching points.
